Just like the 'Little Black Dress' and the 'Favourite Black Pants', every girl needs a Fat Bag! You know what I'm talking about... the bag that:
- Goes with most outfits
- Can be dressed up or down
- Fits everything a girl needs and more!
Well, this is my version of such a bag :-)
I got the pattern by altering/combining 3 Pierrot Yarn designs. The original designs are available for free here, here and here from Ravelry.

Eccentric Bow Tie
Hello again!
I come in peace :-)
A few weeks ago we were invited to a wedding. I love being invited to weddings, don't you? As exciting as it was, I admit Little Man was more excited than me! You see, sometimes he's not included in the invitation and that makes him really sad :'(
However, he WAS invited so we will focus on happier thoughts... like Dressing Up! :-)

It's all very exciting!!
I've taken a plunge and leaped right into a part of Blogland I didn't even know existed before yesterday!
What am I on about?
It's called a LINK PARTY...
Today, I'm not going to keep you here much longer... I'm inviting you to the PARTY.

Well begun is half done
Hello again!
Thank you so much for popping by.
I challenged myself to make my brother's 20th at least semi-memorable. It took me a while to come up with a smart yet simple project that would:
● need minimal resources, so I didn't have to leave the house ;-)
● be 'mature' as his uni friends would be present and I really didn't want to embarrass him (or them).
● be interactive, a talking point.

My brother, who was born a dozen years after me, and I get on like a house on fire. He loves taking pics and is a huge supporter of Instagram and other image sharing networks. Thus, I decided to make some fun Photo Props for his big day.

Finding a 'Voice'
Hi there!
I come in peace :-)
So this 'blog thing' is still very new to me. I've approached it the way I tend to approach all the other new things I'm interested in learning about - I've been Googling it! That's technology for you.
I grew up in times when technology was limited to colour TVs and word processors on giant PCs. I fondly remember, so many years back, the TV my grandfather had. It was 'state of the art' ... It had a remote control!

New beginnings
Hi there!
May peace and blessings be upon you :-)
Welcome to Way-d, my very own bit of Blogville, where I plan to share my two cents worth on all things dear to me. From crochet to paper crafts to poetry and a few other creativities in between. A bit of everything, a lot of nothing. A space to personify the quote I try to live by: "Every day, in every way, I am better and better." (M. Angelou)
This is something I've wanted to do for a long while... start a blog. I plan on starting small, with weekly posts, maybe. I do hope you enjoy what I share with you, for I really do enjoy sharing. If you'd like to follow my journey via email, please type in your email address in the box on the right hand side of this page. I really do look forward to entertaining and inspiring you.
For starters, I'd like to share a crochet project I worked on a few months ago. It was made especially for my Mom. Although I take credit for the work done, I cannot take credit for the creativity.
I found the picture here and used my growing knowledge and experience to figure it out!
I'm sorry I didn't take any pics along the way. All I have are pictures of the completed bag. But, i do plan on sharing the patterns I have created along the way... so stay tuned.
Till next time :-)
